Suitable thickness for laser cutting

How thick can the sheet metal be for laser cutting?

By laser cutting of sheet metal, our machines can process a wide range of material thicknesses. How thick a sheet can be cut with a laser depends on several things, such as how powerful the laser is, what kind of material it is, and how the cutting process itself has been designed. If the laser is more powerful, it can usually cut through thicker materials.

In general, laser machines can cut through thin to medium-thick materials with high precision and quality. For thicker materials, other cutting options, such as plasma or waterjet cutting may be more suitable. If you are having difficulty deciding which cutting machine and method is best suited to the thickness of your material, please get in touch.
