Production Planner for Stans & Press in Vilshult

ABOUT THE COMPANY

Stans & Press i Olofström AB is an engineering company specialising in the subcontracting of qualified components in small and medium-sized series, mainly for international customers, of which the automotive industry accounts for a significant proportion.

We currently have just over 65 employees at our production units in Vilshult and Kallinge. In Vilshult, where most of the employees are located, we work with laser cutting, pressing, welding and assembly, while in Kallinge we are completely focused on waterjet cutting.

ABOUT THE SERVICE

As a production planner, you will be responsible for ensuring that all documentation required for the production of items meets the relevant standards, as well as for developing the production planning process with a focus on welded, assembled and eccentric-pressed components. The company is certified to SS-EN ISO 3834-2 with regard to welding processes and welding standards.

Your main duties will be:

• Support for the sales department during the quotation process in relation to product reviews, feasibility checks and lead times.
• Allocation of items to the correct production group/machine, taking into account safety, quality, ergonomics and productivity.
• Draw up and update work instructions, checklists and control plans.
• Assist with incident management.
• Book servicing and inspections for machinery.

YOUR BACKGROUND

Applicants must have technical training at upper secondary level or above and experience in food preparation.

You will also need extensive experience of manual welding, spot and stud welding, as well as robotic welding. Knowledge of some of our other production areas, such as pressing, laser cutting and CNC, would be an advantage, as it will enable you to effectively tackle any challenges that arise.

You will also need a good command of Swedish and English, experience of working with business systems and CAD, and knowledge of current welding standards.

To succeed in this role, you should be organised, cost-conscious and a good communicator with strong teamwork skills. We also expect you to have a keen interest in technology and a desire to develop.

INFORMATION

This is a permanent position, to be filled as soon as possible by mutual agreement.

Working hours are daytime.
