Stans & Press i Olofström AB is an engineering company specialising in the subcontracting of qualified components in small and medium-sized series, mainly for international customers, of which the automotive industry accounts for a significant proportion.
We currently have just over 65 employees at our production units in Vilshult and Kallinge. In Vilshult, where most of the employees are located, we work with laser cutting, pressing, welding and assembly, while in Kallinge we are completely focused on waterjet cutting.

We are now looking to expand our team in the Laser Department with two new members.
ABOUT THE SERVICE
You will be part of a team of 8 people rotating between our 2D fibre laser machines. They are all of the Bystronic brand with powers of between 4 and 12 KW, two of them with bearing management. We use PMC technology for the preparation of the cutting planes. In addition to running the machines, the tasks include:
- Preventive maintenance.
- Quality control of materials and finished parts.
- Simpler changes to programmes and parameter adjustments.
- Reporting in business systems and maintenance systems (Monitor ERP/Tekla)
- Material handling with counterbalance forklift.
- Handling of plates by crane/Telfer.
- Packing of articles according to packing instructions.
- Longer cutting schedules may involve other tasks such as needle stamping and working on the department's deburring and flattening machine.
YOUR BACKGROUND
Applicants should have workshop experience and a technical secondary school education or equivalent knowledge and experience, as well as a valid forklift licence.
You will need a basic understanding of measurement techniques and reading technical drawings, as well as an understanding of dimensional accuracy, tolerances and material quality. You will also need a good command of Swedish and experience of working with business and maintenance systems.
It is a great advantage if you have experience of laser operator work and knowledge of CNC.

INFORMATION
The position is permanent with immediate start date as agreed. Probationary period applies.
Working hours are two shifts, but there may be permanent night work.
